چکیده

This study aims to analyze the effect of feed based on coconut husk waste fermented Neurospora sitophila growth red tilapia, and determine optimal dose waste. research was carried out in May – June 2021, at Aquaculture Laboratory Building IV, Faculty Fisheries Marine Sciences, Padjadjaran University Bandung, West Java45363 Indonesia. used a completely randomized design with four treatments replications. Treatment A (Control), B (feed containing 25% filler), treatment C 50% D 75% filler). Parameters observed were Specific Growth Rate, Feed Conversion Ratio, Survival characteristics water quality (Temperature, pH, DO, Ammonia). The results showed that C(feed filler) gave significantly different parameters SGR FCR, but not survival rates. Water parameter values are good condition for tilapia. highest value 1.26%. lowest FCR 1.90. most tilapia is C.

Effect of Different Levels of Dietary Supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on Growth Performance, Feed Utilization and Body Biochemical Composition of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Fingerlings

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of dietary supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on growth performance, feed utilization and body biochemical composition of Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings. Four diets containing supplementation at levels of 0, 0.5, 1 and 2 g kg−1 were fed to fingerlings of Nile tilapia (5.01±0.21 g) in four replicate tanks twice ...

Effect of Dietary α-Cellulose Levels on the Growth Parameters of Nile Tilapia Oreochromis niloticus Fingerlings

Three purified diets were formulated using fish meal, soya bean, wheat flour, palm oil, minerals and maltose. The carbohydrate in the diets was increased from 5 to 15% by changing the cellulose content to study the effect of dietary carbohydrate level on the growth parameters of Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus. The protein and the lipid contents were kept constant in all the diets. The resul...

Heterogeneous growth fingerlings of the Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus: effects of density and initial size variability.

In this study, the effect of initial heterogeneity of weight and density on heterogeneous growth (HetG) evaluated by the coefficient of the variation of weight in the young Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus of the territorial species was tested. Fish were maintained in a glass aquarium (8 and 2 L of water) with two levels of initial heterogeneity of weight: low and high, under two density cond...

Replacement of fish meal by plant protein sources in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) diet: growth performance and utilization

The nutritional suitability and cost effectiveness of rice polish and mustard oil cake as protein sources in the diet of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) were studied. This study introduced rice polish as a plant protein source for Nile tilapia and three diets were formulated using rice polish (0, 10 and 20%) and mustard oil cake (10.0, 17.6 and 22.0%) for a feeding trail of eight weeks to ...

Assessing the dietary amino acid requirements of tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings

In an earlier study Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings (initial weight, 4.31±0.27 g) were fed diets with dietary protein levels, ranging from 7.30% 44.24% dry matter (dm) for eight weeks. Using growth performance and food conversion ratio, the dietary protein requirement of the fingerlings was estimated at 33.32% dietary protein (dm). In this study the dietary essential amino acid requirements f...
